Summary - Forrest Gump
The film is about a man by the name Forrest Gump. Throughout the whole film he sits on a bus station and tells his story for the people who are waiting on the next bus. He is an autistic boy who in the beginning of the film wasn't able to walk because of his leg bracers. Jenny, his knew best friend in elementary school told him to run, run from the bullies who was chasing him. And suddenly while he was running the leg bracers fell off. After that his life changes and in the movie you get to see his struggles and his ambitions as an autistic boy becoming a man.

Eye-Wittness
Right now I am standing in the middle of the crowd while we are waiting for Forrest Gump to tell us all about the war in Vietnam. The crowd are excited and are literally going crazy for what Mr. Gump is about to tell us.
(Forrest Gump starts talking)
Oh no! Suddenly his voice gets cut off and as I can see it's somebody from the crowd who switched off the microphone. I am sorry, I think I was a little bit mistaken it seems like somebody pulled out the wires that were connected to the microphone. Like you all can hear the crowd is not pleased when they aren't able to hear the voice of the American hero.
(The microphone turns on again and Forrest Gump says: "And that's all I have to say about that".)
The crowd is completely quiet and you can almost hear a needle fall. They didn't hear a word Mr. Gump said but it seems like they understand it all. I wish that people all around the world watching this right now could be here and experience the same unique feeling.
(Jenny screaming: "Forrest")

What is happening here! A young blonde girl is screaming and running towards Mr. Gump in the water. Mr. Gump starts running and they meet in the middle. Are we witnessing a new love appear? Can that be Mr. Gump's secret lover or girlfriend? Well I guess we will have to wait and see.

The connection I found between the world outside and the book is obviously that people can be wrongly accused for something they didn’t do. Maybe it's not so common, I don’t know but I think people who kill or rape others really need psychological help. I haven’t heard or experienced anything like murder or rape. Except that I have read about it in papers, seen it on TV and watched relatives to a murderer/rapist talk about how they feel. I'm referring to the scene when his family members found out that he was accused being a killer/rapist. I couldn't found any similarities between the book and my creative connection except that every family would be shocked and disappointed if they found out that their son is killer/rapist. Because I didn’t really have any connection their isn’t any similarities which means everything is different.

Summarizer:
Because the pages in the book didn't match up with our planning I had to summarize the whole book instead. Dale's older brother has been convicted of killing five women. The family are branded forever as relatives of a murderer are forcing them to move away. They have to change their name, start new lives and Dale changes his name to Glen. But (Dale/Glen) is afraid that he might become a monster like his brother. The story goes on and Dale gets one new friend while everybody else is against him. He tries his best to keep his secret hidden from the people around him. But suddenly his little world falls apart when he finds out about the class trip. Along with his class he will visit his old hometown. The consequences of the class trip will be worse than expected. Will he go or will he come up with an excuse? Will his new classmates find out his secret? Are his old classmates going to recognize him if he goes? What will their reaction be? Will his new friend forgive him if he finds out the truth? Should Dale tell the truth before it’s too late? He’s scared and confused, what should he do and what results vill his actions lead to?

"A concert" - Engelska
”A concert”
Last summer I was on the greatest concert of all times with my best friend Elisabeth. In June 2013 me and my best friend were in London to see Nina Simone perform. It wasn’t the biggest concert, but she is an amazing artist and it was the most wonderful moment of my life. To finally get to see her and the audience who shared the same experience as me was unbelievable. I couldn’t have imagined something better, it was beyond my imaginations. My favorite moment was when she sang ”Feeling good”. The power of her great voice and the passion she has when she sings just makes me feel relaxed. Like everything’s going to be alright. The concert lasted a little bit over two hours and i got the opportunity to her many of her greatest hits. Except ”Feeling good” she sang another of my favorite songs ”My Baby Just Cares for Me”.
After the concert you were given an opportunity to meet her backstage if you were lucky. I remember thinking to myself, ”can I have anymore luck than this?”. And the answer was yes. Even if I had to wait for more than an hour it was totally worth it. Me and Elisabeth got our T-shirts signed. She was really nice. I think kids these days should give her more credit and attention for her great work. If I would get another chance to see her again I would definitely take it!

Engelska "The Island"

I think that Doctor Merrick’s decided to start the facility because of the money. He makes a lot of money just by doing clones and selling them to celebrities. He doesn’t care about the clones or what they’re ”feeling” because they’re not supposed to have feelings. But in this case the two main characters had feelings. In his eyes the clones don’t have any value because they aren’t actually human beings.
I think this Hollywood film is genius because it has a great message to people. First of all: don’t trust everything you’re told by people and have your own opinion about things. And second of all: fight for everything you think are wright, help people in need and don’t let anyone stop you from doing that.
I’m not surprised by this in a Hollywood film because it’s an exciting movie to watch and it has a great message so a lot of people will watch it. I also think this movie gives us a little warning about the future. What if this actually happens in the future or something close to this. The movie is different and special that’s way I think a lot of people will watch it.
In the film she says ”The Island is real. It’s us”. I think she means it’s so much more than a paradise. You can be happy without a perfect life. As long as you have people you love around you. Long story short she means you don’t need a paradise or be in heaven to be happy. I think we try too much to be happy that we forget how blessed we are for having people we love around us. Just because you don’t have a perfect house or a awesome car it doesn’t mean you have a bad life.

-Hello?
-We think the killer is Fletcher.
-Yeah I know, I figured that out. I will bring him to the Police Station in a couple of minutes, can you prepare an interrogation room for me please?
-Yes of course I can, but hurry up.
Shot 650
(On the Police Station in the interrogation room)
-What did you do at the scene of the crime when the murder happened?
-I was on my way to work when I thought I saw something suspicious, so I stopt the car and walked out. I turned around and saw the suspect run away from the scene of the crime.
-That’s not true. We know were you live and it’s no where close to the scene of the cirme so you’re liying to us. Tell us the truth! Did you kill Pat Lambourn?
-No I didn’t kill Pat Lambourn I was with my lover and she can confirm it.
-Who is your lover?
-I think you should ask Sonia that question.
Fletcher looks at Sonia’s worried face and smiles slezzily.
-I don’t know what he’s talking about!
-You don’t?
Fletcher gets an angry look on his face. So your cat dosen’t have a big black spot on his fur? aren’t your garden full with red roses? Am I wrong Sonia?
Sonia looks desperate around the room trying to figure out what to say next.
And then..

-Okay I confess I’m the killer. When Fletcher went to work I saw an opportunity to blame him for the murder because I knew he would drive by the house. I’m really sorry Fletcher I didn’t want this to happen please forgive me.
-Sonia you’re under arrest for killing Pat Lambourn. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney, one will be appointed for you and you have the right to one phone call. Do you understand these rights as they have been stated to you?

"Gift"
Creative connector:
I can relate to this text in two different ways. Looking back on my family history you could get forced to marry someone you don't like. Or it could be a family arrangement. When I say married away I mean that the family don’t ask about their childrens oppinion, they just give their child away to a close friend or a family member like a cousin.
The second way is: I have a friend who really loved a boy in my old school. And she thought that he would love her back just like she loved him. So she told him about how she felt and he said he already had a girlfriend. Just like the girl in the text, my friend was ”friend zooned”.

The text ”Hunger” is a true story about a boy named Richard Wright. Who tells a story about how his mother used to taught him how to survive on the street and how to stand up for yourself.
So one day she sent him to the store. Suddenly some bad bullies started to beat him up. Richard run home to his mom crying and saying that he didn’t want to go out anymore, but she didn’t listen. She would keep sending Richard out again and again. She wanted him to learn how to stand up for himself.
He went back out again and he stood up for himself against the bullies. Roles had been changed and he was the one who beat the bullies.

Reason why:
- You can see that she is older because she has a daughter and a granddaughter.
- In the text Val says: ”A soft ocean brezze blew her gray curls across her eyes” so you can understand from the text that she has grey curly hair.
- In the beginning of the text they says that they live in Florida.
- The mom in the text was worried about the grandma and told her daughter Val that she never gets up and do panncakes anymore.
- She never goes out anymore, she just watches the tv all day long.. And it shows that she is sad because happy people usally like to go out.

End of the story: "We know where you live"
"We know where you live"
*She thinks*
What should i do? I just want all this to stop. Why is this happening to me? I don't want this stupid phone anymore. If I throw the phone away all this would stop.
She gets up out of the bed. With small and scared steps she walks to the front door and puts her jeans jacket on. *She opens the door and walks out*. The old lady beside the stairs is starring, but Emma doesn’t care. All she cares about right now is to get rid of the phone.
It’s cold outside but Emma walks so fast that she doesn’t notice how it starts to get darker. Eleven minuties from the house she sees a huge bridge. She walks to the middle of the bridge and throws the phone the longest she can.
*She thinks for herself*
I hope it all ends now. Maybe the person who wrote it will leave me alone now.
A few minutes later she walks home again. She goes into her bedroom and falls asleep. It had been a long day and hopefully all this should be over and she can live happy again.

Jessica: Hi, Mark.
Mark: Can I buy you something to drink or something to eat?
Jessica: Sure, I can take a cupcake.
The cashier: Hello, what would you like today?
Mark: Can we get a cupcake and a soda drink please.
The cashier: Of course, there will be 10 pounds.
(Mark takes out the money and gives it to the cashier)
Mark: Here you go.
The cashier: Thank you.
(The cashier gives him his cupcake and his soda drink.) (They take a table in the corner of the bar)
Jessica: So.. do you go on any sport?
Mark: No, I don't like sports.
Jessica: Okay, why not?
Mark: Because I'm so bad at sports I tried to play football for a while but then I quit.
(Silence)
Jessica: You don't talk much do you?
Mark: Yeah, I'm pretty shy at the beginning especially when I'm talking to somebody I like.
Jessica: So you like me?
Mark: Yes, well I mean you seem to be nice.
Jessica: I like you too.
(Jessica looks at her clock)
Jessica: Thank you for the cupcake but I have to go, I hope to see you soon.
Mark: Okay bye, see you later.
I hope she likes me. I would really want to see her again.

English summary of the text ”The Empty School”
The story is about a girl (who we don´t know the name of) and her two friends Martin and Meg who is twins. And this day was a little different, the teachers gave them half an
hour´s extra free time in the dinner hour. So the three of them was hanging out in the sun when Martin went to get his jacket and came out without it and said that the teachers was gone. They didn´t believe in Martin so they went to look. And he was right, everyone was gone. So they starting to look in the classrooms and in the staff room but they didn´t find anyone...And than...
